On the map
-
When opening the page, you will see on the map, engine polygons that are colored based on fire risk, overlaid by hydrant points. You are free to use the "Map Views" dropdown to select which feature(s) you would like to see.
-
Toggling the "Hydrant opacity" and "Engine opacity" sliders can adjust the transparency level of hydrant points and fire engines appearance on the map.
-
Clicking on each hydrant point or each engine polygon will show a popup window that displays its basic information. However, since there are over 25000 hydrant points with a high density shown on the map, if you would like to check information for individual hydrants, it will be better for you to turn off the engine layer first by clicking the "Map Views" dropdown and de-select "engines".
